Getting serious about diving? Want to take the first step into the professional leagues? The PADI Divemaster course is your ticket.
A PADI Divemaster is someone who exhibits a high level of diving skill, professional level leadership, a high level of dive theory knowledge and who is generally a well-rounded and seasoned diver. You will learn skills such as mapping a dive site, high quality diving skills demonstrations and fine-tuning your rescue abilities. As a Divemaster you will be able to supervise divers on fun dives, assist instructors with training and conduct certain PADI programs independently. The Divemaster rating is your stepping stone to becoming a full-fledged PADI Instructor via a PADI Instructor Development course.
Prerequisites:
- A PADI Rescue diver or equivalent rating from another organization
- Have logged at least forty dives as documented by a personal logbook
- Must be at least eighteen years old at the start of the course
- Must have completed an Emergency First Response course within two years of the start date, or have current CPR/First Aid training from another recognized training agency

- Complete a diver rescue assessment
- Create an emergency assistance plan for a given dive site
