A lover of the water and water sports from young, having been a competitive sailor in school, Dorothy jumped at the opportunity to take up scuba diving when a group of friends arranged for it. From her first giant stride into the ocean more than 12 years ago, she has not looked back. Known among her diving peers as the nudi-nerd, Dorothy addresses nudibranchs by their Latin name. These oft colourful sea slugs are also her favourite subject in her underwater photos.

 

A full-time fitness instructor, teaching Pilates and Barre, Dorothy is also a foodie - where food occupies a large part of her Instagram posts. Her PADI Pro development started when she transitioned from her desk-bound job to her current profession.

 

She has been diving with The Submersibles since her first leisure trip with them 12 years ago, where she found them to be organized and a fun bunch.

 

She has also observed and appreciates the high quality of courses conducted by them, thereby coming onboard as a S.Crew. She believes her years of diving experience in different environments, can contribute to the diving community and future divers.
