- The SS-1 is the pioneer of the Symbiosis series - iDivesite's revolutionary range of combined strobe-cum-video lights. While you might be tempted to think that the form factor inherently has to trade off power and durability, you'd be surprised to find that the reality couldn't be more different.
Its strobe has a guide number of 24 and a full dump recycle rate of 0.8 secs. At full power, its 3400mAh battery will give you 1000 shots, more than enough to cover a full day's diving (depending on video light usage)!
The video light on this variant throws out up to 1000 lumens of 5700K light in a 120 degree arc. What's particularly revolutionary and progressive about its design is that the lighthead is interchangeable, allowing photographers to upgrade/swap between options in future, providing for more versatility and longevity. You can even detach the lighthead and battery and use it as an independent torch (requires the LH-AD-01 Lighthead Adaptor).
