GARMIN Descent S1 Diver Communication Buoy

This revolutionary diver communication buoy works with the GARMIN dive ecosystem using Subwave Sonar, enabling topside crew members to monitor and track their dive groups — as well as exchange preset messages with divers wearing compatible dive computers. Networked divers can also see distance and direction to the buoy for back-to-base reference.

Remote Diver Monitoring and Tracking of up to eight divers, up to 100m. Monitor diver tank pressures, depths, diver distances and more. Use GARMIN Dive app to exchange preset message with divers.

Divers in the network can see the distances and directions back to the buoy, giving them clear return-to-base references if they drift too far from the Descent S1 buoy or become disoriented

On the surface, divers can review heatmaps of areas they explored on the dive.

The rechargeable lithium battery gives up to 15 hours of battery life, letting you dive longer between recharges.

Note: The buoy needs to be paired with the GARMIN Descent T2 Transmitter equipped by divers.
