Pre-requisites:

Minimum age of 15 years old (or 10 years for Junior OWD)

In reasonably good physical and mental health

Ability to swim 200m continuously (without stopping) and float 10min on the surface of water without any aid/assistance

STEP 1 Dive Theory Online:

Learn the basics of diving at your own pace through PADI eLearning. A total estimated time of 15 hours is required, including completion of all quizzes and the theory exam. Our PADI 5 Star Dive Center is known is SS Scuba Pte Ltd.

Things to note before signing up for eLearning:

This is the latest diver's compulsory medical form that all students have to fill during the eLearning. Please read through the questions to ensure that:

you answer NO to every questions on page one OR
if you answer YES to any questions, we will need the doctor's approval on page 3.

This is to to highlight to students prior to paying at eLearning as there is no refund regardless of any reasons, including medical. This form is available online when you signed up for eLearning.

STEP 2 Confined Water Dives (otherwise known as Pool Training):

Now is the time to put the theory you have learnt to good use! The practical training in a swimming pool environment prepares you for the grand finale: the open water dives. Our pool training is typically done on a Sunday. However, you can also contact us to arrange for other days if you prefer. Price varies based on the number of students. Sign up here!

Notes:

There will be a re-scheduling fee of SGD 60 per person per session for any changes to any lessons after confirmation of schedule.
There will be additional charges for additional pool lessons for any students who are unable to fulfill performance requirement in the scheduled pool session. Charges is SGD 180 per person per session (one to one), SGD 150 per person session (two or more in class).

STEP 3 Open Water Training:

The real thing begins! Here, we reinforced the skills picked up during the pool session in open water, eventually certifying you as an Open Water Diver, the gateway to endless fun and exploration. There will be 4 open water dives at a location of your choice. Sign up here!

Note:

Open Water fee includes 4 open water dives in local waters over 2 days, equipment rental and instructor fee

Other than offering open water dives in Singapore, we also offer open water dives in a variety of locations so that you can be swimming with sharks and dancing with the turtles during your open water dives! All our overseas trips are organised by Adventours Travel Pte Ltd (TA – 03063), a licensed travel agent as per requirement of Singapore Tourism Board.

Notes:

Price is based on lowest room type rates available at respective resorts. Upgrades are available at additional charges.
Ferry from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal is included in the Bintan price.
Land transfer from Singapore and Ferry transfer from Mersing is included in the Tioman price.
All flights are NOT included in the prices for Bali, Lembeh, Manado and Sipadan.
